With US employment numbers disappointing on Friday April 6th, a weekly close below USD$1626.90 could have sent Gold toward $1400 or less. Today though Gold rebounded, it is down $2.40 @ 1658.30; Silver slips $0.20 @ 31.48/USD/oz. With tensions in North Korea heating up, the price of Oil explodes $1.82 @ 102.84/barrel. High energy prices coupled with high debt levels will slow spending globally. The Euro slips below the 1.3100/USD as Spain bond sales were not successful. The Canadian dollar has been extremely strong in the face of falling stocks and confidence in the Euro.
