The race for the Whitehouse begins; Democrat Barrack Obama vs. Republican Mitt Romney. It will be a long drawn out campaign in which the Presidency becomes a race of personalities rather than policies. It seems whoever wins enjoys the lifestyle more than the responsibilities. Talk is cheap unless it is backed by action. Millions of dollars in advertising will be spent to discredit one versus the other; accomplishing nothing but bolstering the ego of the ultimate winner. In the meantime many Americans will still struggle to make mortgage payments, decisions on which medications they can afford or find a job that will pay enough to live with dignity. God really needs to bless America for the sake of everyone else in the world.

In Canada March housing starts pick up the pace, up 5% from Feb., aided by continued low interest rates and warm weather. Construction of apartments and condos remain strong.

North Korea will launch a long range rocket on Sunday defying international warnings and ban against this activity. Provocation may bring a military response. The concern is that if their missile succeeds a nuclear warhead could reach America.

Greek PM calls for a general election for May 6th. Though the country was forced to make a deal with the devil, the people will need to continue to cope with recession and hardship. Leaders need to lead by example not destroy the country for own gain.
