Good morning,
The residual effects of my injuries from the previous week linger. I don’t really like pain even though I sometimes say ‘pain is pleasure, but let’s face it, I must be nuts. This past week I have been waking up around 3:15 am, every day, bringing back the haunting feelings from when I read, the Amityville Horror. It was the time the Father became possessed by an evil entity and started wielding an axe, especially around the same time. I have a gas fireplace, so there is no need to chop wood in my house. You can only imagine the thoughts running through my mind as I reached for the blankets while winching in pain. Would some crazy man wielding an axe come into my room and chop the leg from my right thigh down to relieve the trauma for good?
Speaking of trauma, the world is in chaos as USA Troops are on the ground in Ukraine performing a weapons audit. It’s like setting the trap with cheese and waiting for the rat to show up so they are justified to engage. The thought alone is frightening! From what I have heard, the Iranians are also posing an imminent threat to Saudi Arabia to attack their Oil fields while the Americans are scantly thinned out. Then there are major War games occurring on the Korean Peninsula posing a threat to North Korea with a thought of an invasion against them. Keep in mind the North Koreans are launching missiles as a deterrent as I write. It’s absolutely mind-boggling how the world has gone from relative peace to insanity over the last few years. Plus don’t forget Taiwan is in the grasp of China with their intention to reunite the Island. How will the world respond when this happens and who will be left to fight the fight?
Consequently, while people, in general, are distracted by Covid, and inflation, trying to cope to maintain a lifestyle accustomed to, the Central Banks around the world are preparing to throw more gasoline onto the fire of what is hyperinflation. Today, the Federal Reserve is on tap to announce its decision on interest rates. It would be foolhardy to expect them to ease the brakes on rising interest rates. The Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen has every intention to maintain a strong Dollar policy and will direct The Federal Reserve accordingly.
They are more likely to raise rates by 0.75% and keep their aggressive stance as did the ECB last week, with more to come. This no doubt will have a huge effect on the economy and people’s ability to spend. After all, the economy is built on consumerism. Spending is the fuel that generates profit to keep the economy humming and keeps people employed and companies sustainable. The Fed’s approach could be described as peeing into the wind which amplified the phrase I recently coined, as their actions are only making a dent into a catastrophe. The Central Bankers themselves created this disaster through their own policies of printing and injecting unlimited streams of money into the economies. You might think I am off my rocker but how can they introduce a new monetary system without destroying the existing one? Is the digitization of currency their true motive and who is directing the imposition of such a grandiose scheme?
Click this clip and it describes what I have been trying to convey all along. The actions are deliberate and this is from the Canadian perspective but all are acting in unison:

The week started with both US ISM Mfg PMI, then Canadian Mfg PMI both below expectations. But the real kicker is the expectation that the Federal Reserve is expected to increase rates by 0.75% at today’s meeting. This had the effect of catapulting the USD Index above the 111.50 mark where it presently is, renewing USD strength despite increasing Jobless Claims. The Canadian Dollar was very volatile as it swung between the 0.74 and 0.73 cent levels regardless of Oil breaching the $89/Barrel level from below the $85/B. The Midterms are next week and fireworks will be plentiful. The cost of living will continue to escalate, stay calm, live within your means and hope that common sense prevails and those that Govern come to their senses for the betterment of humanity!
I think I love you!
