The beginning of November is the start of Movember a noble cause for the benefit of prostate cancer.Unfortunately the papers are too concerned about a more noteworthy cause, “The Mayor of Toronto”.

Sure Rob Ford has not been a stellar, conforming, cultured individual. His actions speak louder than words and some of his decisions are questionable to say the least. But with all these distractions there are many wars of conflicting egos all aimed to control the Municipal Tax base for what they say is the benefit of the city. In a perfect world that might be the case but more often than not we see people in politics abusing their position ultimately for their own benefit.

An example today, The Senate is under the microscope with three individuals becoming scapegoats of probably bigger irregularities. Provincially, the Liberals squandered $Millions to buy votes. Now the focus is on Rob Ford a man attacked because he ran on a campaign to save taxpayers money and accomplished it. The Left claims anyone who associates with Ford; we must question their leadership abilities.

The previous administration under David Miller spent money like it was water and after gauging the taxpayers; David Miller announced before an attempt for re-election that he found $100 Million in the government coffers. We trusted the Con of Miller, who may have partaken in more lavish events yet never came under the watchful eye of the Police.

Bill Blair was appointed by David Miller and I can only assume tensions are high over budgetary concerns with Ford?

Once the ‘dust’ settles I believe the Police Chief should resign as well from his post simply because he went out of his way under the guise of a drug investigation, spending money to embarrass a Mayor and a City?

I believe he politicised and used the media to discredit and destroy a person because he could. A dangerous precedent!
