Italian Cruise ship captain Francesco Schettino began his new job as a busdriver yesterday…., one of the many jokes that broke out after a disastrous accident that should not have happened. Many people died needlessly and their families suffer from whatever idiotic thoughts this man had in his head. The accusation against his irresponsibility was that he abandoned ship and his duty. Claiming he fell into a life boat there was nothing he could do while the nearly 4000 vacationers were left behind trying to get off the sinking ship. It was later revealed that he checked into a local hotel, so he could change his wet socks before he went back to see what transpired. His wife claims the media is making him out to be a monster, while others claim he was a brilliant sea man. Regardless his decisions were irresponsible and ultimately cost innocent people their lives and for this he should pay a price. Did you know that the cruise business has exploded in recent years ending millions of passengers on exciting trips? Unfortunately an incident like this deters people and the image has to be rebuilt from the horrors. Offering $14K/passenger is a good start for pain and suffering. Fortunately, I did not make this my first cruise with my wife because if I had, I would never be able to go on a
