After the dust settles from the Lady Gaga hosted SNL live show on Saturday, Toronto Council started a rumble regarding the fate of the Mayor and governance within the City of Toronto. The key point of debate may be a direct violation of our democratic principals which could strictly curtail the ability of our politicians and the way they conduct themselves, not only in the short term but in future sessions. Let’s see where all the righteous people stand when the spotlight eventually turns on them.  There have been many decisions made by what I describe as anally retentive individuals to curb our freedoms. When was the last time you saw kids playing Hockey on a side street?  I have written about the need for our politicians to be transparent and responsible when dealing with the public dime. They should be compensated well but will be held accountable for the decisions they make. If need be, heads should roll when decisions, like E-Health and Gas Plant closures, made by the politicians end up costing $Billions without justification or accountability to the taxpayer.

Now the unelected Premier Wynne tries to score political points on the misguided decisions of Man clearly in need of assistance. Where is the compassion? 

Councillor Mammoliti stated best, “certain councillors were quick to forgive the shooters in the Eaton Center blaming a lack of funding for programs in areas controlled by gangs to justify the crime and bring understanding to the tragic outcome”.

The ‘ME’ era in politics is about to take a turn for the better.
